Lilly Sunday

Two of my favorite things are finally coming together: Lilly Pulitzer and affordable shopping. Today marks the release of Lilly Pulitzer's line for Target, an occasion that literally caused frenzies across the United States. I wasn't able to go into the store today (not that it would have mattered– the line sold out in hours in most stores!), but I'm already prepping for the inevitable shopping spree that will happen this week by looking online for what I'm going to buy. A Trip to Starbucks Roastery

Since happening to end up at the same university, my friend Kenzie and I have tried to see each other as many Sundays as possible and have ourselves a good old fashioned Sunday Funday. We usually just explore our city or try to find a new place to study, but sometimes we go out of the way to do something super tourist-y. Seattle is a seriously spectacular city, but it's easy to forget that there are so many awesome things right around the corner from where we live. This last Sunday we went to the new Starbucks roastery which is literally right around the corner from Seattle University. Not surprisingly, it was a very rad experience. It was also a great excuse for me to continue to mess around with my new camera!

And just in case you were wondering how much that fancy mug of coffee and the bite-sized cookie cost, it was $4.93. That was by far the most I've ever paid for a 12 oz latte but it would not have been the same experience without getting a drink!
