I still enjoy perusing the Saturday Market from time to time, and I've fallen in love with a lot of the local designers that my favorite consignment store in Bend, Rescue, sells. I've found, however, that it's a different experience to know the designer personally. I've had the pleasure of either working with or being acquainted with these two amazing local Bend designers.
I love Megan Engel of Blume Designs's shirts and leggings. They're made on super soft fabrics and the designs are 100% hand-drawn. They're very detailed, proving how much work she put into her designs. I'm personally obsessed with her Ganesha design-- and I love that it's available in different colors and types of shirts. I'm also very fortunate to know this lovely model!
To buy these designs and more, visit Oregon Blume Designs on Etsy or visit her booth at the Northwest Crossing Saturday Market this Saturday!
I actually got to work with Caitlin as a model for her collection of hand designed and hand painted shirts. Each one is completely unique and one-of-a-kind, which means you can be certain that no one will be dressed in the same outfit as you. She uses a combination of dye, metal working, paint, and stitching to create these amazing pieces.
Email Caitlin herself if you're interested in purchasing one of her shirts!
