Fashionista Friday: My Style Guru Bio

On the Friday of National Suicide Prevention Week, I am taking a break from my regularly scheduled content to announce something very exciting: this fall, I will be working at CollegeFashionista as a Style Guru Intern! If you had told me a year ago that I would have this opportunity, I would have laughed and told you I'd never be good enough to get this internship. I'm glad I never gave up on myself, though, because now I am slowly but surely making my dreams come true.

Every Friday from now until December 15th, my article of the week will be published on my CollegeFashionista account. I will also be sharing a behind-the-scenes look at whatever I covered in that article on my blog to celebrate Fashionista Friday. Today, I get to share the look accompanying my Style Biography.

I figured that, for the first look that would describe my style as a Style Guru, I would wear some of my absolute favorite things. I'm sure you all recognize this Stella & Dot necklace from many many old blog posts. Given that it can be worn six different ways, I refuse to believe that I could ever overwear this necklace too much. This black jumpsuit is, of course, one of my essential pieces as it can be worn with almost anything. These boots have also made quite a few appearances if any of you care to find them in my "boots" tag.

I love that this outfit highlights my attention to detail and is done in one of my favorite color palettes. I'm so excited to show you and the readers of CollegeFashionista what going outside of my box looks like now that you've all seen what I'm most comfortable and confident in!
