As I mentioned in my last post, I went to my first Pride event this last weekend. I really wanted to dress up and partake in the extravagant festivities, but I don't actually own a lot of colorful clothing, let alone anything rainbow. So, I made do with some colorful nail polish and some cute accessories. I chose my outfit very carefully: I wore this pink heart stone bracelet and heart studs along my eyebrows to celebrate love in every form, and I rocked my Life Ain't Easy shirt because suicide rates among LGBTQ+ individuals are unfortunately high, which is an important battle in the LGBTQ+ movement.
