OOTD: Fade to Pink

Fall is my favorite season for fashion: it's just cold enough to layer, but not so cold that I have to cover my outfit with a giant coat. Fall is also the prime time to wear vests, and this is by far my favorite vest.
This shirt was a thrift store find. I bought it because the cut-outs along the collar and down the front are completely unique. I had to replace all the buttons and it's a little big, but that's part of thrift store shopping. It's all about repurposing and making things work.

OOTD: Ivy Green

In case you couldn't have guessed, the Ivy League architecture of Harvard is the perfect backdrop. I wore a lot of layers when I was in Boston, and this was one of my favorite layered looks. I'm actually selling this collared top on Poshmark if you want to steal my look!

OOTD: Patterns and Pleats

Hello from Boston! For the second spring break in a row, I'm visiting Brendan at Harvard. We've been walking all over the city looking at the beautiful and historic architecture. These pictures were taken after walking 4.67 miles on the Freedom Trail, which took us from the North End to Charlestown. The Metolius River

One of my dad's favorite places in the world is the Metolius River. I grew up hearing stories about him and my mom fishing the Metolius, sometimes with me or my siblings strapped to their front. Since moving closer to the Metolius, my family has spent a lot more time visiting the river. We've spent half of the Father's Days there since moving to Central Oregon fifteen years ago. I was lucky enough to be home for Father's Day this year, and our family (minus Riley and plus Brendan) went up to the Metolius this year.

Brendan and I are so cute that my sister took the opportunity to take some pictures.

We've taken this family picture in the same place many times. It's so cute to see the difference between each picture as the years have gone by.

I also got to spend time with my cousins and their cute four-month-old babies. Brendan tried to get Luxe to act like Audrey, the baby on my lap, but Luxe wasn't going for it.
